Your role
As a Senior Platform Engineer , you will:
- Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments on GCP and AWS
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment processes
- Design and implement cloud security including IAM, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), firewall rules
- Provision and manage networking, compute, storage, and database services in the cloud
- Improve reliability and performance through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to build custom cloud solutions
Your skill-set
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering (GCP, AWS, or hybrid environments)
- Solid knowledge in cloud networking, IAM, compute, and storage services
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in consulting environments
- Strong team spirit and excellent implementation skills in projects
- High social competence and enjoyment of working in diverse teams
- Strong willingness for personal and professional development
- Completed studies (e.g. in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics)
- Broad technological understanding and analytical approach
- Professional attitude and fluent German and English skills
Nice-to-have
- GCP or AWS certifications (e.g. GCP Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
- Experience with server-less architectures (e.g. Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda)
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles

Project setup
- Primary workplace is on-site at the client’s location in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Workload: 80–100%, with flexible working hours and home office options depending on the project
