Your role
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures on GCP and AWS
- Develop cloud strategies aligned with technical requirements and business goals
- Lead end-to-end cloud transformation projects, including migrations, re-platforming, and cloud-native development
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
- Build and optimizeCI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and DevOps strategies
- Define cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks (ISO,SOC2, GDPR)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues to improve system reliability and availability
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing across teams
Your skill-set
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture (GCP, AWS, or hybrid)
- Expertise in CloudNetworking, IAM, Storage, Compute, and Database services
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes (GKE, EKS) & containerization
- Strong proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build)
- Cloud security &compliance expertise (IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring)
- Experience with FinOpsand cloud cost optimization strategies
- Excellent communication& consulting skills for working with clients of all sizes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in consulting environments
- Strong team spirit and excellent implementation skills in projects
- High social competence and enjoyment of working in diverse teams
- Strong willingness for personal and professional development
- Completed studies (e.g. in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics)
- Broad technological understanding and analytical approach
- Professional attitude and fluent German and English skills
Nice-to-have
- GCP or AWS certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional)

Project setup
- Primary workplace is on-site at the client’s location in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Workload: 80–100%, with flexible working hours and home office options depending on the project
